STAYING EVERGREEN
by Neal Davis
A Pair of Boeing 757’s at Evergreen Maintenance Center (EMC).
Driving south from Phoenix to Tucson on Interstate 10, just past Picacho Peak, you will see some colorful spires aiming at the sky, and on closer examination, you can identify them as aircraft tails. So what are these doing in this land of sage, cactus and creosote bushes? My curiosity has brought me here to Evergreen Maintenance Center (EMC) to find out more about this place in the middle of the desert.
