Shrub and Landscape Roses Morden Sunrise SPINK HOME RUN® hrub

(PPAF, Var: WEKphorn) Just like her dad, Home Run®, in every way except for fl ower color. She’s such a sweet pink shade and glows so beautifully displayed against dark green foliage accented with red new growth. Like ‘Dad’, she KO’s the competition when it comes to com- plete black spot AND complete powdery mildew resistance. Landscapes from coast to coast will enjoy winning performance from this rose that blooms in continu- ous waves all season long. Zone 4 hardy. Grown own root.

MORDEN SUNRISE Hardy Shrub

Semi-double fl owers with wavy petals and orange stamens are an ever-changing kaleidoscope of peach, coral, yellow and cream hues. First bloom is abso- lutely amazing, with nice rebloom continuing until frost. T e compact, bushy plants have dark green fo- liage and are considered to be quite disease resistant. One of the most beautiful of the “Parkland” series of roses developed by the Morden Research Station in Canada. Makes a wonderful border or hedge with a bonus of Zone 3 hardiness. Grown own root.

Pink Home Run® SEA FOAM Shrub

Long, trailing canes lined with old-fash- ioned, pure white, double fl owers are a unique attribute that lets this rose be used as a groundcover or planted to spill over walls or embankments. It can also be trained to grow as a climber. Small dark green, glossy foliage is highly disease resis- tant and lines the canes with weed-smoth- ering denseness, making it a good choice for colorful, easy-care landscape mainte- nance. Zone 4 hardy. Grown own root.

Sea Foam SPARTY HARDY™ hrub FRAGRANT PURPLE PAVEMENT Rugosa

(Var: Rotesmeer, Exception) Although not a groundcover as the name implies, this rugosa is more compact than most roses of this type. It’s a tough, hardy rose that blooms heavily in early summer with good repeat throughout the season. Flowers are reddish-purple, semi-double and won- derfully fragrant. T e crinkly green foliage resists just about everything, including salty seaside condi- tions. Bright red rose hips in the fall are an added bonus. Rose hip tea, anyone? Hardy in Zone 3. Grown own root.

(Plant Patent #21499, Var: DAR- canard, Nouvelle France) Like its name in every way! A ‘party’ be- cause of the abundant showy clus- ters of big, old-fashioned double blooms of deep pink, and ‘hardy’ because it breezes through harsh Zone 3 winters without winter protection. T e medium tall, up- right to slightly spreading, shrub- like plant clothes itself with clean green foliage from top to bottom. Bred in Canada, this rose not only thrives in very cold climates, it actually prefers those conditions. Grown own root.
