JUST JOEY Hybrid Tea

Huge apricot blooms age to an acceptable buff when fully open. Shorter than average plants, al- most as wide as high, are covered with mahogany tinted foliage. A great show rose in cool climates and the heavy substance of the petals allows it to open fully, showing fl uff y yellow stamens and holding for days. Exquisitely fragrant but tender in harsh win- ters. Don’t ask why ARS classi- fi es it as an orange blend. Voted world’s favorite rose in 1994.

Height: 4-5’ Petals: 25-30 Flower Size: 5-7” Fragrance: Strong fruity Hybridizer: Cants, 1972

(Var: HARzippee, Perception) T is hard-to- fi nd rose produces consistently perfect high centered fl owers of creamy white with a rosy pink blush on the edges of the petals. It is a vigorous grower and very fl oriferous, with the blooms usually borne singly on long, straight stems with glossy, dark green foliage. As it has been tested in trials around the country, it has proven to be very hardy in most climates and excels in the upper Midwest and North- east. One more attribute is its wonderful sweet fragrance.

LeAnn Rimes KARDINAL™ Hybrid Tea

(Var: KORlingo) T is superbly formed pure scarlet rose has such heavy substance that it seems to take forever to become full blown. Just barely large enough to qualify as an exhibition variety, but it makes up for it in productivity since its original destiny was a cut fl ower. Dark green, leathery foliage is so resistant to dis- ease you almost know before you sniff that it isn’t going to be very fragrant. T e upright plants tend to build upon themselves during the summer and are thankfully quite hardy.
