Movers & shakers Sotheby’s appoint experienced Berger
MALLORCA Sotheby’s International
Realty has named Regan Berger as its new sales director responsible for the agency’s offi ces in Port Andratx and Santa Ponsa ... as well as in Ibiza Town. Berger will “take on a key role in the company’s rapid expansion plans,” Sotheby’s told OPP. Originally from the UK, Regan has 14 years of real estate sales experience working for some of the largest and most successful property companies in southern mainland Spain including a spell as the sales and marketing director for Arcos Gardens Golf & Country Estate near Jerez and, more recently, as the sales director for Sotheby’s Kristina Szekely operation which has it head offi ce in Marbella. “I’ll be getting my teeth into a well-fi nanced, young operation that is full of energy and enthusiasm,” he says. “Working here will enable me to continue handling my favourite kind of real estate, the high-end, as it’s enjoyable to promote a glamorous product and in the Balearics virtually every property is a spectacular one-off.”
Hotel expert moves into Miami fractional CLAUDIA Ortiz-Rauscher has
become the general manager of Eloquence Residences in North Miami, part of the Tapestry Resorts full-service hospitality management solutions group, where she will “oversee the on-site operations for the fractional and rental programmes.” Ortiz-Rauscher will “supervise the activities of all department heads and their staff, and set strategies for achieving growth goals and
objectives, revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction and employee development,” says the company. She goes into her new role with 19 years of hospitality experience, the majority spent with The Ritz Carlton group where she worked on numerous hotel openings and takeovers, including the Ritz Carlton Orlando; The Ritz Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Florida; and the L’Auberge de Sedona, in Sedona, Arizona.
Hamptons Bishop goes for London growth UK agency Hamptons International
has opened a new fl agship resi agency in central London. Sales director Adam Bishop, who has over 20 years’ experience in central London property will lead the new offi ce. Also recruited are to the new operation, located in Grosvenor Square in Mayfair, is Tanya Mentzis, who has eight years’ of experience in London property. Marc
Goldberg, head of sales at Hamptons International, said: “The London property market continues to outperform other regions across the UK, with steady demand for prime central London stock in areas such as Mayfair and Belgravia. We are predicting further growth for this market, with a 4% increase in sales values and 3% rental growth over the next 12 months.”
