Nature & History Camps
A summer spent digging in the dirt, looking at bugs under a microscope, exploring the woods and the wetlands, chasing butterflies in a meadow, caring for farm animals and traveling back in time to live like boys and girls did 90 years ago in Glenview are all a part of Glenview’s own nature and history camps at The Grove and Wagner Farm. Pure fun.

The Glenview Park District, in partnership with REI Northbrook, is proud to offer this exciting outdoor camp for adventurous youth interested in the outdoors! Campers will experience what the outdoors of Illinois have to offer- fishing, archery and canoeing are just some of the activities. Campers will have lots of hands-on activities while learning about and exploring the natural areas of The Grove and taking part in exciting off-site field trips. There will be no camp on Wednesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Note: Field trips will take place on Fridays. Fridays will have extended camp hours until 2 pm.
