GBS Sports Clinics
Glenbrook South High School’s summer clinics are designed to introduce the fundamentals of the sport to the beginner, while the more experienced athlete will be coached in greater depth in the skills, techniques and strategies of their individual sport. Pure fun.
Register your camper according to his/ her current grade level during the 2011-12 school year (unless age/grade level is otherwise indicated).
All GBS Clinics are held at Glenbrook South High School, 4000 West Lake Ave., unless otherwise noted.
GBS Summer Basketball Clinics —
Work on your fundamentals and game strategies with GBS coaches and players.

Bump, set, spike and serve your way to a better volleyball game with this two week clinic! Instruction will be provided by GBS Volleyball coaches, who will be assisted by Titan staff and players. Each camper will receive a tee shirt. WHO: grades 4-7

DAY/TIME Soccer Clinic —
Join GBS Soccer Coach Hector Carabez and his staff to learn the action-packed game of soccer. Participants will learn skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting, as well as game play strategies. It’s a great one week clinic for beginners and experienced players. Each camper will receive a t-shirt. WHO: grades K-7

Summer Track & Field Clinic —
Learn the basic techniques of all track and field events from actual GBS coaches and team members. Emphasis on field events such as high jump, long jump and shot put and shorter running events (hurdles and relays). Participants will also get a brief overview of distance races. Jr. Titans Field Hockey Clinic —
BEG/END 6/11-6/21
This one week clinic features instruction by GBS Field Hockey Coaches and Varsity team members. Learn all the basic techniques of this fast growing, quick moving sport, including techniques for stopping, hitting, passing and shooting the ball. Game strategies will be discussed and challenging drills and game play will make it a fun clinic you won’t want to miss. Participants should bring their own goggles, mouth guards, shin guards, cleats and water. Please bring your own stick if possible. Each camper receives a t-shirt.
