Our Online Registration System To use our online registration system you must know your Household Number which can be found on the upper left of your registration receipt. You may also e-mail registration@ glenviewparks.org
to obtain your Household Number. Your Household Number will be shown at the top left of your registration confirmation e-mail. Be sure to include your e-mail address when filling out the paper registration form.
How do I register? IF YOU ARE A RESIDENT…
Resident Priority Registration is open to anyone currently residing in the Glenview Park District as well as those who submit a copy of a signed purchase contract for a home or a signed lease showing that they will be residing in the park district when the program they are registering for begins. Resident Priority Registration begins Jan. 9. The park district reserves the right to request proof of residency prior to processing new households. IF YOU ARE A NONRESIDENT OR MISS THE RESIDENT PRIORITY DEADLINE… General Registration begins at 9 am, Mon., Jan. 23 on a first-come, first- served basis.
Waiting List Policies 1. If the camp you have selected is full, your
payment will be processed and you will be put on the waiting list for that section. 2. Participants may only be added to a wait
list section if they have not been accepted into another section of that same class. Once the participant has been accommodated into a section of the program, they may not maintain a waiting list spot on any other section for that same program. 3. Participants may be placed on a maximum of one waiting list section of any program. (except Flex Camp). 4. To be added to a waiting list, you must complete a program registration form or online registration and pay the program fee in full or by deposit if deposits are accepted for that camp. You may not be added to a waiting list by phone call or hand-written note. Your position on the waiting list is based upon when your registration with payment is processed by the district. 5. If after two meetings of the program, you have not been accommodated into the program, your payment will be refunded in full.
May I register for a friend? In order to register for a friend you must bring a completed registration form on which the Waiver and Release of All Claims and Assumption of Risk has been signed by the parent. Only one additional form per person will be accepted when registering in person.
How do I know if I’m in a program? If you are registering on-line or from the digital brochure, you will be able to print your own receipt. If you are registering in person, you will be given the choice of a paper receipt or an e-mailed receipt at the time of registration. If you mail/fax your registration, your receipt will be e-mailed or mailed to you. If you are placed on a wait list, the initial receipt will show that you are on the wait list and you will receive an updated receipt once you have been placed in the class. In the event your program is cancelled, you will be notified and your program fee refunded.
Transfer & Refund Policy Transfers are allowed up to 48 hours after the first program meeting. This timetable provides the flexibility for a participant to try a camp or clinic while helping the district assess changes in availability before too many sessions have occurred. Refunds will be granted up to 48 hours after the first program meeting. A 10% cancellation charge per total program fee per child will be assessed, for camps up to a maximum of $75 per program per child. After 48 hours, no refunds will be granted except for medical purposes or change in
residence (proof required) and there will be a pro-rated refund based upon number of program sessions held.
How do I get a refund? Call (847) 724-5670 or visit Park Center, 2400 Chestnut Ave. to apply for a refund. Allow two weeks to receive your refund. Refunds will be issued net of any outstanding balance owed by you to the park district. If there is no outstanding balance, the refund will be made by check or credit card based upon the method of payment used at the time of registration. No refund checks issued under $2.
Am I a Resident? New residents or changes in residency within the park district boundaries are required to provide proof (gas, electric or water bill, current tax bill, purchase agreement or lease. A Driver’s License is not acceptable proof of residency).
Are you covered? The park district does not carry medical or accident insurance for program participants.
