All the problems in the USA and eurozone will certainly have an impact at some point, but we are not yet seeing the same falling traffic levels in Turkey that many other markets are reporting. “Hopefully, the increasing levels of exports from our country’s
developing manufacturing industry will offset any falls in global demand,” Ozerman concluded.
HNA forms MyCargo Airlines
Bravia Capital (Bravia), a private equity investor based in Hong Kong and China’s HNA Group (HNA) have completed the acquisition of Istanbul-based all-cargo carrier ACT Airlines first revealed at the end of July this year. ACT Airlines, which has a fleet
of six A300 freighters, has been rebranded under the deal and will trade as MyCargo Airlines. As part of the deal, two B747-400
freighters have already joined the fleet of the new company. Braiva Capital said the transaction represents the strategic
discussions with our customers to expand our business several-fold and we have already increased fleet capacity in order to meet the growing demand.”
