Monitor calibration Why is it important?


We rely on the monitor to judge colour before printing, so ensuring that what you see is consis- tent is the start point to producing a successful print. Even if you feel that you don’t need to pro- file your printer as well, using one of the col- orimeters here on a regular basis will ensure that your monitor colours won’t drift. The more sophisticated types also offer such features as auto-adjustment to the ambient light levels and matching several monitors to the same calibra- tion target.
