Taking a Break in Slovakia Now that Slovakia is in the news for turning down the

My summer cruising was rescued by the amazing
efforts of Waypoint Marine in Sidney and Payne’s Marine in Victoria. Our trusty Lewmar Pro Series 1000 windlass that had just celebrated its 5th birthday this spring started jamming the rode. Mark Fraser of Waypoint got another unit in less than 24 hours that I salvaged parts from to
