10.00 – 11.00 7 Steps to creating organisations that survive and thrive Our interactive workshop will introduce you to seven key factors that are essential to ‘organisational wellness’, using the human body as a metaphor for a healthy organisation and explore what best practice might be in each area.
The Art and Science of Organisational Wellness The Experiential Learning Zone features the Interactive Theatre, offering top tips on using the best experiential and accelerated learning techniques to both engage audiences and help embed knowledge.
It also includes the ‘Play and Paint Zone’, where you can come and have fun doodling and learn some great techniques and then contribute to a creative masterpiece to help to collectively defi ne ‘organisational wellness’. The zone will be open all day from 10.00 – 16.00.
Interactive Theatre:
Tuesday 27 September 10:30 – 11:00 Presenting with impact This fast paced, practical, and participative workshop concentrates on developing personal impact and presence, through the effective use of voice and non-verbal communication. To do this we will be using a holistic voice development process called Performance Method Singing.
11:30 – 12:00 Leading in times of austerity The current period of austerity has only served to increase the many challenges leaders face when shaping their organisation to be able to both survive and ultimately thrive in the new world order. This workshop aims to introduce you to some key methodologies and top tips to lead in both the bad times and the good.
12:30 – 13:30 Laughing matters This short session will help you to open your mind and give you the opportunity to ‘play the fool’ and discover for yourself the power of laughter. Highly relevant to business and anybody who works in or with teams.
13.30 – 14.00 Transforming management through systems thinking This session will introduce you to the concept of systems thinking as a method for continuous improvement and explore how this impacts ‘old style management’.
14.30 – 15.00 The art of business Discover how visual arts can solve your business problems, gain competitive advantage and create a happy, productive workforce.
15.30 – 16.00 How to communicate effectively in groups This interactive workshop, uses voice, sound and song to provide you with a memorable, creative and fully engaging experience that highlights the key behaviours required to create outstanding team communications and presentations, that really hit the mark.
16.00 – 16.30 Achieving personal wellbeing at home and work This interactive workshop will fi rstly challenge some of your perceptions about UK health, via a fast-paced quiz, then introduce you to our Personal Wellbeing model and give you the opportunity to complete your own ‘personal healthcheck’. We will then explore what organisations can do to improve the wellbeing of their employees.
11.30 – 12.00 Infl uencing through personal brand and presence This workshop uses a range of creative and thought-provoking activities to get you to explore your values, motivations and career aspirations and then to develop your desired personal brand.
12.30 – 13.00 Culturally clueless – using drama to assess culture Culturally Clueless is part training session and part game. In small groups, you will have the opportunity to meet employees of Big Bucks Unlimited – a failing manufacturing company – who will reveal clues about various aspects of the culture. We will then show how this can be used to both assess your current culture and design your desired culture.
13.15 – 13.45 Mojo Aerobics – the art of engaging learners Have you ever noticed that trainers seem a lot more engaged in their training sessions than learners? So how can you quickly and effectively engage your learners? Why not try Mojo Aerobics? Designed to include physical activity, collaboration and to create a fun atmosphere and curious state of mind, Mojo Aerobics is a perfect antidote to trainer-centred workshops.
14.00 – 14.30 The leader within In this exclusive workshop, Gill Davis shares with us what determines excellence in leadership from the personal perspectives of those who have mastered the skill and achieve recognition for their work on a consistent basis.
15.00 – 15.30 Laughing matters Finish your exhibition energised and positive with our second Laughter Yoga Session. Laughter is good for our bodies and good for our minds. Life and work may be serious matters, but this excerpt from our laughter workshop will show you that laughing matters just as much – if not more.

The ‘Chill and Chat Zone’ offers visitors the opportunity of a little respite from the bustle of the main exhibition – where we can help you de-stress, talk in confi dence to one of our expert coaches or just take some time out to laugh and play.
