A group of investors have announced they have completed the acquisition of Dynacast, Charlotte, N.C., from Melrose PLC, a transaction fi rst announced in early June. T e company, which will now operate as Dynacast International Inc., was acquired by affi liates of investment fi rm Kenner & Company Inc., New York, Izurium Capital Management, London, and other investors.

Grede Holdings LLC, Southfi eld, Mich., has been recognized with a certifi cate of achievement for perfect quality in 2010 and 2011 from Chrysler Group LLC. In addition, its Iron Mountain foundry in Kingsford, Mich., and its metalcasting facility in Bessemer, Ala., have achieved one million man-hours worked without a lost time accident.
Osco Industries Inc., Portsmouth,
Ohio, has recently been awarded the President’s “Company Award” by the Ohio Cast Metals Association (OCMA), Columbus, Ohio. T e award is given to a metalcasting facility whose representatives have made signifi cant contributions and demonstrated leadership through OCMA for the association’s members and the metalcasting industry as a whole.
