“What I believe is so great about the Ark of Dreams is that it’s a very simple and pure idea, and yet it has a potential to become a truly powerful source for self-empowerment for everyone who has an artistic dream, no matter where they live and what they do in the world.”

What your goal is to establish with this project? How you got this idea?

The basic idea of the Ark of Dreams is to provide an opportunity for everyone to make their artistic, creative dream come true. I remembered the tough decisions I had to make to be able to hold on to my Dream, that was one of the reasons I decided to build the Ark of Dreams. Most of the people do not have the time, the resources, the freedom to pursue their creative ambitions. I believe there are millions of sketches, drawings, paintings, poems, novels, songs and all kinds of creative ideas hidden at the bottom of drawers all around the world, waiting to be believed in.

In which way you consider this idea innovative?

What I believe is so great about the Ark of Dreams is that it’s a very simple and pure idea, and yet it has a potential to become a truly powerful source for self-empowerment for everyone who has an artistic dream, no matter where they live and what they do in the world. In addition to its simple function as a reminder or a wake-up call to hold on to your dreams, all the people around the world who decide to join the Ark of Dreams, by joining, create this initiative’s potential to become one historical joint artwork that embraces the whole planet.

These days, the majority of people are either forced or programmed unnoticeably to live their lives with motives and purposes among which there’s no space any more for dreams and less and less space for true values. The world is inundated with bad news, with negative attitude, with fake content that numbs us out, disabling us from being conscious, from seeing clearly what really matters in Life. The initiative of the Ark of Dreams is one of the possible ways, I believe, to rise above all the heavy, grey waves of negativity. By holding on to our dreams, as we are building the Ark of Dreams together, we contribute to building a new Earth.

What is your desired masterpiece to come out of this project?

The Artworks that are submitted to the Ark of Dreams will, together, become one joint Artwork of the world that merges all art forms into one coherent whole. And the fruit of our joint creative efforts will be presented at the event of the World Premier in about a year. What the World Premier will be like depends on how the initiative of the Ark of Dreams is evolving. It can become a gigantic exhibition or something utterly new that we can’t even imagine now, as we are taking the first steps. For sure it will be an unprecedented, wonderful, memorable event that makes all the participants’ artistic dream come true.
