OXLEY CONSERVATION HISTORIC BUILDINGS CONSULTANCY REPAIRS TO
THE CHURCH OF ST MARY,
LUDGERSHALL, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE For St Mary, Ludgershall PCC
The repairs include the replacement of roof coverings, repair of roof frames, repointing of stone walls and repair and improvement works to the rainwater disposal system including below-ground drainage.
The works are being grant-aided by English Heritage/Heritage Lottery Fund under the repair grants for places of worship in England scheme. The net value of the works contract will be in the range of £150,000-£200,000.
The programme for the works is as follows: l Expressions of interest to be received by 23rd September 2011 l Completed PQQ to be submitted by 14th October 2011 l Tender documents issued by 28th October 2011 l Tenders submitted by 25th November 2011 lWorks starting on site March 2012

Contractors expressing an interest in tendering will be required to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire [PQQ].
Contractors must be registered with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and will be required to supply CVs and example of relevant work, demonstrate experience in the implementation and management of conservation work including the CSCS Heritage Skills Card.
Following an assessment of the PQQ a shortlist of no more than five contractors will be invited to formally tender for the repair works.
NOTICE TO TENDER TENDER FOR CONSERVATION WORKS
CHURCH OF ST MARY ROLLESTON ON DOVE STAFFORDSHIRE
Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified conservation contractors for conservation and repair works to this Grade 1 Listed church. Works are likely to primarily include extensive stonework repair; limited replacement, re pointing, consolidation using lime mortars; also repair and overhaul to rainwater goods and tower parapet gutter, all carried out under the direction of the architect.
The client is the Parochial Church Council of St Mary, Rolleston on Dove. The works are being financially supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund grant scheme for Historic Places of Worship administered by English Heritage.
Contractors expressing interest will be required to complete and submit a pre-qualification questionnaire. A selection process, based on evidence of appropriate conservation experience and management capability, will be used to produce a list of no more than 4 contractors who will then be invited to submit formal tenders. Contractors must be registered with the Construction Industry Training Board.
It is anticipated that tender documents would be issued in October 2011 and site works will commence Spring 2012. Apply no later than 16th September 2011.

NOTICE TO TENDER TENDER FOR CONSERVATION WORKS
CHURCH OF St Mary and St Barlok Norbury, DERBYSHIRE
Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified specialist stained glass conservators for conservation and repair works to this Grade 1 Listed church. Works will primarily include the manufacture and installation of bespoke externally
mounted and vented isothermal glazing to eight medieval stained glass chancel windows followed by a scheme of environmental monitoring under the direction of the church architect.
Conservators expressing interest will be required to complete and submit a pre-qualification questionnaire. A selection process, based on evidence of a proven track record and extensive experience of techniques will be used to produce a list of no more than 4 conservators who will then be invited to submit formal tenders. Conservators must be accredited under the Icon/PACR scheme at all times during the project.
Works will also include improvements to external surface water drainage (installation of French drains). Suitable contractors applying for this phase of works must be registered with the Construction Industry Training Board.
