Putting e-commerce one click ahead
RS Components (RS) has unveiled a new website in the UK and Ireland, designed to enhance the online experience for customers. A new product search feature and superior browsing promise faster access to over 550,000 products.
The updated site is the latest step to put e-
commerce at the heart of the company’s business, ensuring customers enjoy the best online experience, regardless of location or browsing device. New functionality enables customers to search for productsmore easily and to access an array of 3D CADmodels. An enhanced search algorithmdeliversmore relevant content and allows customers to tailor their results. Solid State Supplies has signed a franchise agreementwithWL Gore to distribute its EMI shielding products in the UK. The range includes adhesive-backed EMI gaskets for shielding at frequencies up to 40GHz, lightweightmulti-cavity board-level shielding formobile communications devices, and grounding pads in a variety of electrically conductivematerials. Products are compatible with both through-hole and surfacemount electronic assemblies and, in some instances, can be retro-fitted to existing products.
