AAHA’s New Canine Vaccination Guidelines Released Since the Canine Vaccination Guidelines were last revised five years ago, new vaccines have been licensed, others have been withdrawn, and new information has led to the revision of previous recommendations. New Partnership for Preventative Pet Healthcare Formed Announced by AAHA and AVMA in July, the Partnership for Preventative Pet Healthcare (PPPH) was formed to promote pet wellness and address the downward trend in veterinary visits. Visit pethealthpartnership.org for more information.


Reuniting Lost Pets and Owners AAHA’s Pet Microchip Lookup Tool—a free, internet-based resource that assists with microchip identification of lost pets—has reached its two-year anniversary and has been utilized nearly 850,000 times since its inception.
