Cotswold Fayre Expansion F

ine food and drink wholesaler, Cotswold Fayre, has moved into larger premises to facilitate the company’s continuing growth.

Cotswold Fayre began life in the late 1990s, with a team of two dedicated to marketing and distributing products, for a handful of small Cotswold producers. Today, the company represents more than 120 brands, 1500 products and has grown its team to 30.

The company grew 30% in the past year and is predicting a similar growth figure for the next 12 months, so it is perhaps no wonder that a move was becoming a priority.

The new 20,000 square feet office and distribution centre, while only five miles from the old warehouse, offers more than double the space. “We were very content in our old premises but were literally bursting at the seams,” says Cotswold Fayre Managing Director, Paul Hargreaves. “The new premises gives us the scope to expand our product range, our team, distribution reach and our customer interaction.

“While our business is now established, our original philosophy has remained the same. We seek to provide independent retailers with quality products, from reputable producers, that deliver a point of difference from the supermarket chains.

“I am confident that this philosophy, high levels of customer care and the physical advantages of our new premises will see our business continue to expand in the years ahead.”
