World Skills UK Landscape Gardening Competition National Finals It is the largest skills-based competition in the world, and from the Friday and during the show six teams of two – battle against each other to see who will represent the UK at the world championships.


Landscaping Live - This new feature promotes the benefits of quality landscaping for an average garden, whether this is through engaging the right professional or a DIY project.


Made up of two identical gardens, one completed and one under construction, professional experts and presenters will introduce a range of landscaping projects throughout the show transforming the plot into an attractive and practical garden space.


Harvest Pavilion

Step into the world of fruit growing and orchard life in the new Orchard Pavilion. This Pavilion will join together the Festival of Perry, the Commercial Apple and Pear Show, Marcher Apple Network, Worshipful Company of Fruiterers, Herefordshire Year of the Orchard Group, the Apple Juice competition, Know how to Manage Your Orchard, Fruit Nurseries. Celebrating the Herefordshire Year of the Orchard in style with demonstrations, tasters and helpful advice on all aspects of Orchard life.


Festival of Food and Drink and Local Arts, Crafts and Food Market Entertainment, Animals + Country Pursuits


National Horseboarding Championships – Daring boarders will be reaching speeds of upto 30mph as they are pulled along by galloping horses! Activity Arena


Dog agility, Xtreme Falconry and Ferret entertainment all day World of Animals


A very popular area of the show, with many different breeds of dogs, horses, goats on display


Country Pursuits Marquee


Gundogs, Woodturning, Countryside Alliance, Barnowls, Ferrets are all found in here.


National Stick-making competition held on the Sunday with over 200 sticks entered for 2011 qualifiers for the National finals.


Discovery Zone


A hands on exploration zone where children of all ages can try out fun and free activities including the Grow Your Own Pumpkin Competition started at the Malvern Spring Gardening Show


Forestry


Taking a look at the more traditional side of Forestry with plenty of demonstrations including willow hurdle making, Mobile Saw display, Tree identification and others.


Vintage machinery and Classic Cars Plenty of enticing Shopping opportunities
