Rolls-Royce is rolling out a new


generation of marine reduction gearboxes developed by its Norwegian technicians. The latest addition to the range, the 950AGHC, has a rated input torque of 130kNm and up to 530kNm of output torque, and is the second model of the new series to be released, following the 2008 launch of the size 550 gearbox. For the 950AGHC, the maximum reduction ratio is 6.3:1, and a secondary power take-off with either vertical or horizontal offset can be specified. Tree more sizes, 1050, 850 and 650,
