Etihad in Mahé Etihad Airways is to operate flights
to Mahé, Seychelles, from November 1. “Abu Dhabi is an important hub in its
own right and the UAE is a potential market for Seychelles. This direct air link will help to consolidate the Seychelles position as an accessible tourism destination,” said Alain
St.Ange, ceo of the Seychelles Tourism Board. Etihad will operate four return
services per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday) from Abu Dhabi at 10.00 to reach Seychelles International Airport at 14.35. Return timings will be 18.55/23.30. The service will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft.

website, designed to support trade partners, is now live. The site has a user-generated content
feature and the trade, along with consumers, is being encouraged to post content such as special offers and tips. The site also enables potential visitors
to New Zealand to research activities and experiences and read articles contributed by locally-based travel companies and like-minded travellers. Visitors can ‘virtually’ explore New Zealand and interact with tourism operators to create their ideal holiday.

to be interactively educational, with a simulation hurricane room. Treasure Bay Casino opened late last
year and is the island’s first casino, with 250 slot machines and 22 gaming tables. A zip-line experience is another

added a new range of ‘lifestyle products’ based on the findings unearthed from the company’s 2011 Holiday Report. ananea is a new collection of holidays
based around the concepts of eco- friendly hotels, volunteering and ethical touring. There are 21 hotels around the world, volunteer projects like teaching children in Thailand and ethical touring, including a Born Free safari. Kuoni has always featured weddings
but now has the Honeymoons & Weddings Brochure. This includes special add-ons like upgrades, massages and romantic experiences such as balloon safaris, as well as an online gift list. Other features of the lifestyle concept
include a Fashion for Charity collaboration with designer Osman Yousefzada. The Travel Compass is an interactive tool used in Kuoni stores that lets customers show what expectations they have from their holiday.
