Working Together Towards a Brighter Future

Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR is a commitment by a company to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of our workforce and their families as well as the local community at large. It's a growing concept whereby organisations take responsibility for their impact on society and the environment. Secret World is keen to work with the business community at all levels. Companies committed to corporate social and environmental responsibility can become directly involved with Secret World’s work.

By partnering with Secret World, your company can benefit from:

n Enhanced PR and marketing opportunities;

n Establishing strong credentials as a ‘Green’ company;

n Links with Secret World celebrity patrons;

n Increased brand awareness through the charity’s high media profile;

n Direct input into the charity’s community and educational programmes;

Although the work of Secret World has national (and international) significance, and through the various television series it has been involved with reaches millions of people, we are a small organisation and your support can make a real impact.

You can get involved with us in a number of ways:

n Staff involvement: By lending your personnel to provide professional guidance and mentoring and support, as part of your on-going CSR programme;

8

n Nominated charity: By making us your Charity of the Year (or Month) and involving staff in fund-raising for wildlife;

n Payroll giving: Through the give-as-you- earn scheme, in which employees have the option to make regular donations (which the company can then match) - this is a highly effective way of contributing to the charity’s work;

n Sponsorship: By covering the costs of an aspect of Secret World Wildlife Rescues’ work - sponsorship can be in cash or in kind

Chris Packham says:

“I support Secret World’s work wholeheartedly.”

Chris fears that people are learning about wildlife through their televisions.
