Think before you act


We are sending out the usual yearly message of ‘please don’t pick up wildlife unless you’re really sure it needs help’.


Quite a few animals come into us when they didn’t need to and maybe, with the wonders of mobile phones, it’s worth a phone call before you act.


At Secret World, we rely on our team of volunteers to support both our Animal Carers and our Office Staff to enable us to continue the work we do for Wildlife.


Could you offer a few hours of your spare time on a regular basis to assist with:


l Animal Care l Charity Shop l Office Duties l Telephonist l Receptionist


l Collecting injured animals and bringing them into Secret World


l Laundry Maintenance l Helping at our Open Weekends l Distributing Leaflets


FLOG IT!

Keep an eye out for us in the autumn when the new Flog It! series starts again.


They filmed with us earlier in the year. Paul Martin is obviously a wildlife fan as he was so interested in all that we do here at Secret World.


We are the only rescue centre that operates 24/7 in this area, therefore we have various shifts that we need our volunteers to help out with - days, evenings and weekends, if you have a love for wildlife and would like to get involved with our work, please contact:
