of stainless steel heat exchangers. With a steady stream of new product introductions, including the models listed below, Lochinvar has maintained the tradition of technological leadership that began with the Power-Fin Commercial Boiler more than 20 years ago. CREST®

S 106 Condensing Boiler— The latest and largest

addition to Lochinvar’s family of condensing boilers, and the result of several years of research and development, has officially hit the market. CREST offers innovative fire-tube technology integrated with the exclusive SMART TOUCH™ operating control, offering greater design flexibility and distinctive performance characteristics to meet today’s building standards. Available in five models ranging from 1.5 to 3.5 million Btu/hr, with thermal efficiencies as high as 99%, CREST brings Lochinvar’s leading-edge technology and exceptional energy-efficiency to the largest commercial applications. KNIGHT®

SUPPLIER PROFILES

combustion to deliver thermal efficiency as high as 98%. With low NOx operation and 10:1 turndown, SYNC offers cutting-edge green technology for a wide range of commercial applications. SHIELD®

Commercial Water Heater―SHIELD

Lochinvar maintains a 20- year tradition of excellence

ince introducing the breakthrough KNIGHT® Heating Boiler in 2005, Lochinvar®

has continued to take advantage of the outstanding performance

continues to make waves by proving that sometimes it's what's not inside that really counts. With inputs up to 500,000 Btu/hr, 96% thermal efficiency and storage up to 125 gallons, SHIELD provides the ultimate green operation – without the risk of lime scale buildup inside the tank. With the advanced stainless steel heat transfer system located outside of the tank, providing a 100% defense against lime scale buildup within, SHIELD is designed to maintain the same high efficiency and low operating costs throughout the life of the product. In addition, the Lochinvar/TiSUN line of commercial

solar thermal systems is now available. The innovative line includes solar thermal panels, solar thermal storage tanks, a pumping station and a wide array of system accessories. ;

Residential Heating Boiler — In addition

to the wide range of wall-mounted and floor-standing models previously offered, KNIGHT is now available in wall-mounted units with an innovative new fire tube design. Developed to provide contractors with all of the options they need to serve every application, the new KNIGHT Wall Mount fire tube models are available in seven models with inputs from 55,000 to 399,000 Btu/hr., making them ideal for residential or light-duty applications. For higher demands, Lochinvar’s exclusive SMART SYSTEM™ control features a built-in cascading sequencer that allows up to eight units to be installed, delivering up to 3.2 million Btu/hr. heating capacity. ARMOR®

efficiencies up to 98%, inputs up to 800,000 Btu/hr, a stainless-steel heat exchanger, 5:1 modulating turndown and the SMART SYSTEM control, ARMOR stands above the competition. Designed to be installed with a separate storage tank, the unique ARMOR design protects against the harmful effects of lime scale buildup, which can cause a traditional heater to fail in as little as two to five years and substantially increase operating costs. KNIGHT XL®

Commercial Boiler ―The KNIGHT

XL is a modulating/condensing unit with an array of innovative features. Equipped with the SMART SYSTEM control and available in five models from 399,000 to 800,000 Btu/hr inputs, the KNIGHT XL promises and delivers incredible ease of installation and maintenance. With 94.6% thermal efficiency, Low NOx emissions and a fully modulating burner with 5:1 turndown, this boiler is the ideal green choice for today’s environmentally- focused market. SYNC®

Condensing Boiler―The innovative SYNC

is equipped with the advanced SMART TOUCH™ control, and is available in models producing 1.0, 1.3 and 1.5 million Btu/hr inputs. SYNC combines stainless-steel heat exchanger technology with modulating/condensing e Circle 68 on reader reply card
