Milton Keynes has two GAME stores – one in the shopping centre, the other outside in

Midsummer Arcade, so I made an executive decision (due to the sunshine) and chose the outside store. I approached the nearest employee and asked for his advice. He was extremely knowledgeable and let me test out a 3DS whilst he told me about the new features, including the camera that takes 3D photos. When I asked whether the games on display were the only ones available, he informed me that there isn’t a large selection at the moment, but new titles are being released on a regular basis, and all original DS games can be played on the 3DS. I left well informed.

HMV
I couldn’t find anything about the 3DS in HMV to begin with, despite there being a massive
SCORE: 7/10
display in the window stating that it was reduced for the Easter weekend. When I found the games department on the first floor I noticed it was well laid-out, light, spacious and clean. However, there were no employees on the shop floor at all. After about ten minutes, a smiley faced chap came up the escalator so I grabbed him in a headlock and asked him a lot of questions. He explained the 3DS’ features, quoted a health warning about limiting 3DS use to avoid headaches, said there aren’t too many games out yet and explained how DS games can also be played on the 3DS.
