MEDIA WATCH: PORTAL 2
The buzz behind one of the biggest new video games
“Games like this don’t come around very often, and if you miss out on this one you’ll be skipping one of the finest examples of the medium the industry has to offer: Portal 2is compelling, exciting, wildly capricious and, most importantly, laugh out loud funny.”
Alex [nofi] 12 May 6th 2011
“This was obviously never going to feel as fresh as the first game, and the slow opening does make the overall experience seem slightly stretched, but by the end you’ll be convinced you’ve just experienced one of the best crafted interactive experiences ever made.” David Jenkins
“I think you knew all along this was going to be great. Fantastic, even. All the same, I don’t think you’ll be prepared for it being this good. A mere ten minutes here will yield more memorable moments than you’re likely to squeeze out of the entirety of most other games this year.”
Jamin Smith
“Portal 2is a challenge, but at the same time, it’s one of the most rewarding experiences of this generation, featuring one of the funniest and most involving scripts. Walking into Portal 2is easy; the problem is walking out the other side. Why? Because you won’t want to leave.” Dave Scarborough
