RECOMMENDED: HUNTED: THE DEMON’S FORGE

HUNTED sends players back into the dark ages on a dangerous quest to uncover the secrets of the Demon’s Forge. Powered by Unreal Engine 3, this third-person action adventure takes place in the corrupt world of Kala Moor. A world where a host of demonic creatures have risen from the underground and townsfolk are disappearing.

It is up to the player to take on the role of mercenaries searching for the missing people and the truth behind the abductions. Gamers have the choice of playing as either E’lara or Caddoc. Both characters depend on each other during the game, despite their conflicting personalities and fighting styles.

Hunted has been described by the press as a ‘fantasy Gears of War’.

Caddoc is a tough warrior who uses a shield as both a defensive and offensive tool, whilst E’lara is an impulsive but expert marksman. Both characters have the gift of

dragon’s breath, a bolt of electricity that can be fired at enemies.

GRUESOME TWOSOME

Gamers can look forward to battling a wide array of nasties – from Jason and the Argonauts-style skeletons to giant spiders and Minotaurs. Players can defeat these enemies through a choice of powerful weapons, deadly spells and a range of co-op kills. If things start looking a little desperate, E’lara and Caddoc can even heal each other. As well as battling through demon-ridden towns, players can create their own dungeons with The Crucible. This in-game editor gives consumers the chance to build and populate areas with enemies of their choice, providing opportunities for custom-made exploring and personal skirmishes. Huntedhas already been well received by the press, described by some as a ‘fantasy Gears of War’– a catchline that is bound to capture gamers’ attention come launch.
