Asu Nail & Beauty are holding a nail and beauty festival at the Clarion Hotel Dublin Airport, on Sunday 19th June between 10am and 5pm.

CND scooped two coveted titles in the recent Herald Beauty Awards, being named Best Nail Care Range overall and receiving the accolade for Best Nail Treatment for its Solar Oil.


Speaking about the brand, judges from the Herald newspaper said: “This nail brand is hard to beat, with gorgeous polishes, effective products (such as Solar Oil which also picks up a Herald Beauty Award) and the amazing In-Salon manicure Shellac which has revolutionised the nail care industry since its launch.”

On the main stage there will be presentations by a master in the nail industry, a tanning expert, business experts and much much more.


Astonishing Nails will be there with a Master Nail Technician, while Nfu.Oh Nail Creations will be offering hands on demonstrations.


Blixz Nail Wraps will also be giving demonstrations of their foils and Sun Laboratories Tan will have full body spray tan demos and offering advice on how to build a tanning business.

OPI were kept busy at London Fashion Week as Trish Lomax worked her magic on both the John Rocha and Betty Jackson shows.


Nude was the order of the day as OPI’s Tickle My France-y with a matt top coat (OPI Nail Envy Matt) was used for the John Rocha show, while Sant-tan-torino and Samoan Sand Mix (50/50) were chosen to complement makeup by Artist Sam Bryant.

Minx co-founders Janice Jordan and Dawn Lynch-Goodwin, who design all the Minx nail fashions, collaborated with UK nail stylist Marian Newman for Thierry Mugler and Gareth Pugh’s Paris Fashion Week shows to create some stunning designs.


All of the excitement backstage at Thierry Mugler’s show was streamed live to audiences in Paris and worldwide through the Internet. “This was the fi rst time a major brand has revealed the secrets behind the magic of the runway,” says Janice, who was backstage assisting lead nail stylist Marian and her team of Helen Lysle-Taylor, David Barton, Lucy Galsworthy, Kimberley Casey and Mirka Poikkeus.


It took four hours to ‘Minx’ 35 models for the runway, including Lady Gaga who featured in the show.
