Our support and development services enable you to get maximum benefits from your studies.


Our library service encompasses eBooks, journals and a wide range of online resources in addition to traditional books. If you have not studied for a while or need help with study skills, we have online help and advisers too. The service extends to Blackboard, an online learning place for students and staff.


If there is an issue affecting your life at university, we have trained staff to assist. If you need help with money matters, child care, future careers or perhaps a disability issue we will be there to listen and help. You can also find out more at www.cumbria.ac.uk/support.


The Students’ Union provides opportunities to get involved in representation and social activities as well.
