A full description of what a Renaissance Festival entails is difficult to put on paper, but mostly it is live interactive theatre in Vaudeville/Shakespearian format including entertainment and music from the era. Add handmade crafts and goods with some excellent food and a little historical magic to boot. However, please don’t expect historical accuracy, as most Renaissance Festivals are done with a lot of humor and puns all around.
You will see actors dressed in the full attire of that time period(s) as they greet you and your families. You can watch magic shows or see live fire eaters while perusing hand crafted goods - fine art, fiber, pottery, stained glass and much more!
