Workshop covers the latest tools in the detection and identification of counterfeit electronic components, providing hands-on training on equipment that will help improve quality control programs.
The DelMar Electronics and Design Show is set to take place at the DelMar Fairgrounds in San Diego, California,May 4 to 5. This annual conference provides companies that design,manufacture and test electronic products with the latest updates on what's happening in the Southern California and Northern Baja manufacturingmarketplace.

Dr. Bill Cardoso, president of Creative Electron Inc.,will conduct theworkshop. He also is a member of the SAE International's G-19 subcommittee as a subject matter expert on the upcoming regulation concerning counterfeit component avoidance.

will include training on the following techniques: x-ray inspection, decapsulation and IC layering, visual packaging inspection,marking permanence and blacktopping tests, and microscopic inspection.
