A note from The Editor
Our thoughts, sympathy, and support go out to those in Japan affected by last month’s powerful earthquake and resulting tsunami. I am sure you too have been watching the drama over the damaged nuclear plant with bated breath and wondering how this will affect the future of nuclear fuel. The implications of these events have far flung consequences and we will only know the affects to our own lives and businesses in the coming months. As I write, Christine and Belinda are visiting FerraForma in Bilbao and I am looking forward to their return and news of the companies that exhibited there. You can read the report and see photographs on pages 24-25. Our Voice of the Industry article this month invites exhibitors to an open day to introduce an exciting new show called PLANTWORX that is being planned for May 2013. It is good to have a major new event in the UK to look forward to.
This month’s magazine has features on abrasives, generators and compressors and also Hire. There are two company profiles –Ideabright Ltd in Fulham and Pramac from Tredegar in South Wales.
