arrived at Sembawang in November 2010 for a three week programme of works before sailing to her new home port in New Zealand in December. T is was the second project undertaken by the yard for Carnival Australia, following on from the successful upgrade of Pacifi c Jewel in November 2009. For Pacifi c Pearl, the scope of work included
the replacement of four lifeboats and tenders and the installation of four new tenders and davits; the fabrication and installation of a new ‘HQ’ teen centre, weighing 45tonnes, on the main deck level; the fabrication of structural supports for, and assisting with the installation
