ho will be next? For 40 years, the EMU Alumni Association Scholarship has provided a means for
children and grandchildren of alumni to continue the Eastern legacy. Joshua Lowe, pictured at left with his grandmother, Mary Arble (BBA80), is a current Alumni Association Scholar. Joshua is a freshman majoring in sec- ondary education and is also active in student government. Spread the word: freshmen, sophomores or transfer
students who are children or grandchildren of alumni are eligible to apply. The amount is $1,250 per academic year, and it may be renewed for up to four consecutive years for a maximum of $5,000. A graduate-level Alumni Association Scholarship is also available to legacy students who will be enrolled as first-semester graduate students in Fall 2011. The amount granted is $1,250 per academic year, and it may be renewed for two consecutive years for a maximum of $2,500. For complete scholarship guidelines, requirements and

EMU Wherever I Go When? August 2010. Where? Quepos, Costa Rica
Dale L. Wood (BS75) donned his EMU green while visiting his daughter in Costa Rica. Dale and wife Mayra toured the country and spent five days in Quepos, a tropical inlet on the Pacific Ocean.
