Traci Haydu (BS94) has been granted tenure as an associate professor of physical education at Maryville College in Maryville, Tenn.
Kate Keller (BA94) has been honored with a “Forty Under 40” award from the Cincinnati Business Courier.
Karen Lemerand (MA94) was awarded the George F. Hixson Fellowship Award by the Kiwanis Club of Monroe, for which she serves on the Board of Directors and co- chairs the lottery fundraiser.
Kevin Manninen (MBA94) is the economic developer for Ontonagon and Baraga counties.
Sherri Scharf (BS94) is the new assistant to the town manager of Ayden, N.C.
Jeffrey Thomas (BME94) was named Orchestra Teacher of the Year for the Bedford School District for the 2009-2010 school year by the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association.
Scott Reynolds (BS95) is a writer for the fifth season of the Emmy- nominated television show “Dexter,” which airs on Showtime.
Jeff LaFerney (MA96) has had his first book, “Loving the Rain,” published by CreateSpace.
Cynthia Gefvert (BS97) is section leader of water supply planning for the South Florida Water Management District.
John Roberts (MA97) is the athletic director for Adrian High School in the Adrian Public School District.
Michael Tarr (BS97, MA99) has been named associate director of Student Affairs at the Mercer University School of Medicine on the Savannah, Ga., campus.
