What’s the Craic?

Getting lippy

Love them or hate them, nobody can deny that Jedward know how to shine in the spotlight. Although they may have lost out on the coveted X-Factor glory, their entry for this year’s Eurovision Song contest, entitled ‘Lipstick’, has put them firmly back in the forefront of everyone’s mind.

The Dublin boys fought off stiff competition from four other acts, including make-up artist Nikki Kavanagh, on RTE’s Late Late Show back in February.

Speaking after the result, Jedward said they were very excited about representing their country adding: “From the moment we start people are going to have their lipstick on. We just wanna do well and bring the title back to Ireland.”
