Dear Irish Beauty... Star Letter

Dear Irish Beauty,

I just wanted to tell you how inspired I’ve been to revamp my salon since reading ‘Through the Keyhole’ in Feb’s issue. I absolutely loved the Boudoir Chic section and have been scouring the internet and my local furniture shops to try and recreate the look! Thanks for the great ideas.

From Niamh, by email. As this month’s star letter Becky has won a year’s free membership to AIT.

Mum’s the word To IB,

Thanks for the Mother’s Day Retailing feature in last month’s issue. It has really helped me to think about what retail gifts I can promote in my own salon, and now I can’t wait for the day itself!

Grainne Quinn, Galway

Straight talking To the Editor,

Thank you for including the glossary of key ingredients in your cosmeceutical skin care feature in last month’s IB. I’ve been looking to take on a cosmeceutical range in my salon since Christmas but wasn’t really sure where to start and your article really helped me to understand what I should be looking for.

Aoife, by email. I love Irish Beauty magazine because...

Conversation piece Dear Editor,

I just wanted to let you know how much I love the In Conversation With... articles in the new look IB magazine. It really helps us to gain insight into the people we work with in our industry on a more personal level and allows us to see that the people you interview are just as normal as everyone else.

Iona Doyle, Co. Meath

Ed: Thanks for your letter Iona. We really like the In Conversation With... articles too - as it really is an eye opener sometimes seeing what type of responses we get to some of our questions! Check out this month’s interview with Euro Products Founder Hilary McMurray.

Nailing the issues Dear Ed,

I’ve just been reading the last issue of Irish Beauty and came across your Expert Nail Panel feature. I’m glad to see that both you and the Experts agree that while nail wraps/veneers certainly have their place they are no substitution for the real thing. As a nail artist myself I have spent years perfecting my skills and pride myself on my creativity and the excellent finish I offer my clients.

Siobhan Murphy, Dublin.

Getting arty Dear Irish Beauty,

I’ve just been brushing up on my nail art skills and have some brilliant new designs I’d like to share with other readers - if I sent them through is there any chance they could be included in the magazine?

Ciara, by email

Ed: Absolutely Ciara! We’re always on the lookout for nail art designs from our readers and in the next issue we’re hoping to include a nail art gallery! Please email your designs along with a brief description of the products used and your inspiration to Melissa@aitireland.com.
