According to Renato de Angelis: “The timing of The Event, just after the

major European shows, allows the retailers to have a clear mind on what to buy in a relaxed and informal environment.”

At this month’s Event there will be 60 + of the industry’s top brands on

display from an exciting cross section of Europe’s best factories and designers. This season we have 2 new additions to the show, both exhibiting on the Ground Floor: the attractive Bourne Collection and the return of the well-established agent Paul Dugdale who will be exhibiting Pedro Miralles and Paco Milan.

Martin Ward says: “This continuity of support suggests a very high level of

satisfaction with The Kensington Shoe Event and the quality of the retailers who attend. Certainly, the new venue in central London, The Westbury in Bond Street, has raised our profile and we were delighted to receive visits during the September Event from some of the most important buyers in the Trade. It is our intention to continue attracting more retailers to The Westbury with our advertising campaign and selective emails.”

The Autumn/Winter season is especially important for those factories

which specialise in the production of boots. At The KSE there are several top-notch boot manufacturers, including Manas; Kennel&Schmenger; Pons Quintana; Alberto Zago; Paco Herrero; Cara London, Peter Kaiser and Nero Giardini,

. These factories offer a wide range of styling and prices...but

always with a touch of fashion. (An important note for independent buyers: it is not always necessary to "buy early to secure delivery" as all the exhibitors at the Event will happily take orders in March/ April for delivery in July/September).

•Amongst the many well renown brands also on display at The KSE in March will be some of the most glamorous shoes on the planet!! Labels such as Magrit; Pura Lopez; Voltan; Audley and Bourne all offer retailers a real opportunity to brighten their shops with beautiful saleable styles from some of the most dedicated followers of fashion worldwide.

• A wide variety of modern day shoes and boots can be found at Hispanitas, Sixtyseven, Toni Pons, Vanilla Moon and Angel Alarcon. These ranges add flair and commercial sense to many retailers windows

• "Flat & Funky" also has a place at The Event: Arche offer French "comfort-chic"; Victoria have a super plimsoll/lace-up look for girls with style; Pretty Ballerinas and Ska Ballerinas offer two of the best European collections in the market and Geox with their exclusive "breathing soles" technology have given flats a whole new appeal.

• Car Shoes/Moccasins are never far from the fashion headlines. Brands exhibiting at the next Event include Paul Green; Gardenia; Manila and Pastoret. A superb selection where retailers are offered stylish comfort and everyday wearability to keep their customers very happy!!

Once again all visitors to The KSE at The Westbury will be offered

complimentary light refreshments throughout the day in true 5-star style. Every visitor will receive a brochure to guide them over the four floors used during the Event, ensuring that no stone is left unturned in finding just the right product mix for the coming season.

Opening Hours: Sunday & Monday 9am-7pm Tuesday 9am-4pm. Further information available on the website: www.thekensingtonshoeevent.co.uk
