If you absolutely cannot stand the thought of all eyes being on the grooms’ cake -- another option is to serve the grooms’ cake as dessert at the rehearsal dinner. The groom and his family traditionally pay for this cake, so it also makes sense to go this route. In some cases, the groom’s cake can even turn out to be a less expensive alternative to your caterer’s dessert options.


TheManRegistry.com Recommendation: While certainly not a requirement, adding a groom’s cake to the wedding certainly adds a nice touch. If it’s in the budget, I say absolutely go for the groom’s cake.
