Cool Stuff Luminaire Foto’s fotovideo ByWed and Sarina Buonannata

Being a photographer is more than a job, it’s a passion. Karl Rouwhorst and Nanette Dorbeck are the talented husband and wife team that make up Luminaire Foto, eco- friendly photography for modern and mindful couples and families.

Karl and Nanette capture each wedding, event, and portrait in a way that can be described as a visually organic documentary. One of the newest techniques that the couple has incorporated in their photojournalistic arsenal, is fotovideo. Thousands of digital shots are taken automatically (some taken click-by-click), and transformed in a unique way. The result is a moving snapshot of your event.

When we first saw Luminaire Foto’s fotovideo, we fell in love! It is the perfect, whimsical “music video” to sum up your wedding day.

Although it doesn’t replace videography, fotovideo is a great way to look back on your engagement, family event, or your wedding day. In our modern day, tech-savvy world it is a unique way to share your event with family and friends, near and far. It is your personally scripted story set to fun music of your choice, allowing you to relive those special moments over and over again. Some couples have even chosen to surprise their guests and have the fotovideo played at their reception.
