Jangro gives 100% support to CHSA
Jangro, the largest network of independently owned janitorial supply companies across the UK, Ireland and the Isle of Man; has given 100% support to The Cleaning and Hygiene Suppliers’ Association (CHSA) – all Jangro’s 40 branches have become Association Members.
Jo Gilliard, Operations Director of Jangro said: “We totally support the activities of the CHSA, its objectives mirror our aims as it is focused on standards and quality, which are the only way ahead. Now that Jangro has more sales outlets than any other UK janitorial supply business, we must illustrate our leadership by our actions and this is one way we can show the market that we are dedicated to excellence and fair trading.” One of the major CHSA campaigns that attracted Jangro’s Group Membership is the Manufacturing Standard Accreditation Scheme for soft tissue products. This is successfully eliminating the cheats who either incorrectly describe products on packaging and literature or do not label their products at all. CHSA Member manufacturers ensure that their products are accurately labelled with dimensions such as length, width, and sheet count and
that the product in the pack meets the specification on the label.
Graham Fletcher, General Secretary of the CHSA said: “Membership by the total Jangro Group shows clearly that we are meeting our objective of attracting the most ethical manufacturers and distributors in our profession. Jangro was elected to the Council of CHSA at this year’s AGM with Gary Fage of Janitorial Express, London as its nominated representative. We look forward to benefiting from Jangro’s input.” Further information on Jangro’s UK’s product range and local Member contact: Jangro on 0845 458 5223, email
