New Connector Software
Industry leader Simpson Strong-Tie has announced the expansion of its innovative and user friendly software range to include the new ‘Connector Selector’, a programme helping customers select the lowest cost connectors via the company website.
The software is a free service and offers a fully comprehensive and up to date product list which allows customers to find the products most appropriate for their connection.
The easy to use ‘Connector Selector’ also organises products by lowest installation cost, with a built-in ‘job list’ enabling users to track their projects and print off a shopping list, whilst keeping a record of their preferred hangers.
The clever programme also takes into account connector load adjustment factors, such as slopes, skews etc, along with specifying proper model numbers to facilitate smooth order placements.
Additional features include regular upgrades posted on the website for easy software downloads, links to the PDF catalogue page of each selected connector along with the option to export and print solutions, job files and material lists.
