other electrical and electronic hardware with a range of supporting literature, software, configurators and back-up service.

Using Rittal’s subrack configurator and

catalogue information on products for electronics, Rittal claims it is easy to determine the parts required to house PCBs in a control cabinet or 19in rack. 'The System' also caters for those who want a large array of boards, backplanes, power supplies and cooling, all of which can be brought together as anMPS systemchassis. Alternatively, Rittal has a team ofmore than 20 sales specialists who can help configure a solution.

LED drivers are ideal for commercial, residential and industrial lighting systems

Recomhas developed a newseries of constant current LED driverswith universal AC inputs, power factor correction and UL certification. With over 70,000 hours of operating life, the drivers are ideal for commercial, residential and industrial lighting systems.

The first two products in the Lightline RACD

series are a 12 and a 20Wsolution tomeet the needs of high brightness LED lighting. With universal AC input and constant current output of 350 or 700mA, the RecomAC input LED drivermodules are said to drive almost any LEDmanufacturer's products and almost all LEDs systems as they have a wide output voltage range over which the constant current regulation works. They can be used with single LEDs or with strings of up to 16 LEDs. Both the RACD12 and RACD20 also feature

built-in power factor correction greater than 0.95, 3kVAC input/output isolation, a fused input and are protected against short circuit, open circuit, overload and over temperature. The converters are certified to the new UL8750 standard for driving LED arrays.

W&P Products' signal/power connector family promises newminiaturisation possibilities

W&P Products presents a compact signal/power connector family designed for control and measurement systems.

The pin and female headers combine

contacts for current ratings of 8.2Awith contacts for signal currents of 3A in the same connector. Since control signals and power currents are transmitted by the same interface, the connector promises newminiaturisation possibilities and simplified board design. Devices are available as SMT and through

hole versions. The power contacts are designed in 5.08mm pitch, with two to four contacts in single row. The signal contacts are designed in 2.54mm pitch, with two to 24 contacts in double row.
