Knitter-switch has added the SBS 5000 J series to its dual-in-line (DIL) switch family. Featuring space-saving gold plated brass j- hook terminals, the SBS 5000 J can be specified with either recessed actuators (which protect against accidental operation and allow automatic insertion) or raised actuators for easier operation. The switches are end-to-end stackable and come with four, eight or 10 poles.
Applications include security and alarmsystems,
communications devices, remote controllers and industrial and building automation systems.

Just what the buyer ordered
Lorlin is expanding its SRL series key operatedminiature lock switch range with the IRL impulsion type. The IRL provides two switch positions: amaintained centre neutral position; and active position at 60deg clockwise with a spring return to centre. Fitting a 16mmpanel hole, the switch projects less than 30mmand is available with single or double pole contacts.
Applications include alarm
systems, factory equipment, security gates and vending machines.
Specifications include: a 50N plus cable pull force; switch contacts rated
at 1A, 24V AC/DC resistive load; and a -20 to 65°C operating temperature. The locks can have up to 200 different keys or a common key.
Standard front panel bezels are bright silver, withmatt black available. Lorlin Electronics’ technicalmarketingmanager, Rob Peach, said:
