Ozone sterilisation on tap for healthcare industry
harness the power of ozone to bring affordable and effective in-house sterilisation solutions to the healthcare industry.
T
The Ozone Water Antibacterial Steriliser attaches to a tap, and produces ozonated water which can be used in place of chemicals to kill bacteria on skin, materials and foodstuffs.
The Vacuum Bed Steriliser can be used to sterilise mattresses, towels, bedding and clothing, which are placed in large vacuum bags before being connected to the ozone supply, which effectively eradicates bacteria such as E. coli, Candida Albicans, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Staphylococcus Aureus and Dichlorvos.

The Ozone Water Antibacterial Steriliser is a simple-to-fit, digitally-controlled unit which connects directly to a tap. It can be turned on or off, allowing the operator to choose between ozonated and normal water.
Ozonated water has multiple applications in the healthcare environment. Predominantly a hand sanitiser, it can also be used to sterilise instruments, as a detergent-free antibacterial cleaner for floors and surfaces, and to remove surface pesticides/preservatives from foodstuffs such as fruit and vegetables.
Originally designed for the healthcare industry, the unit can be used in hotels and restaurants to help compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety legislation and has its place in a number of other industries
where health and hygiene processes must be followed. The Ozone Water Antibacterial Steriliser costs £295+ vat.
The Vacuum Bed Steriliser allows one person to sterilise up to three mattresses at a time in large vacuum bags, using a simple digital controller.
The equipment greatly reduces the risk of cross-contamination affecting vulnerable patients.
It can be used to sterilise bedding, towels, pillows and clothing, which are often found to be harbouring bacteria, even after washing. Clinical trials show that the Vacuum Bed Steriliser is extremely effective on the bacteria responsible for causing serious illnesses1, and it has also been shown to eradicate dust mites, inorganic and organic pollutants and
vermin eggs, and to remove musty smells from stored bed linen and towels. The Vacuum Bed Steriliser is simple to use, requiring no special training, and safe to operate, the items to be sterilised are placed in vacuum bags, a nozzle is connected to the bags, and the unit cycles through the sterilisation procedure, which can be pre-programmed to take between 1-99 minutes.
In clinical trials, most bacterium and other contaminants were killed in less than 6 minutes. Once sterilisation is complete, the unit disperses residual ozone to ensure the safety of the operator and those in the surrounding area.
The Vacuum Bed Steriliser costs £3450 +vat, including king, double and single sized vacuum bags.
