Work and Wellbeing at Plymouth T
he high profile Work and Wellbeing Conference
hosted by the University of Plymouth attracted over 140 representatives keen to understand how time spent supporting the health of their workforce can directly contribute to the health of their business.
The event opened by Dame Carol Black, national director of health and work, shared good practice focusing on the benefits of well being initiatives.

improved morale, productivity and positive attitudes to work and change.
Mark Duddridge, managing director of Ginsters confirms: “Our wellbeing programme, now in its fourth year, has had a significant impact on our business.
“This has made the business far more competitive, a fantastic return on our initial investment.”
Those attending got a feel for the national picture, the identified benefits, an understanding of their legal obligations and learned how organisations have implemented initiatives without significant investment.
