Research & Technology (FRT) developed a univer- sal metrological measuring solution that solves the typical measuring tasks during a 3DIC production process with one device.
The MicroProf® TTV multisensor measuring tool is
useful for developers and producers of electronic and MEMS chips already using the innovative 3DIC technology, but it is also interesting for those who are thinking about implementing the technology in the future. MicroProf®
enables the high-resolution
characterization of both raw wafers and structured or multi-layered wafers according to varying thickness (TTV), flatness, bump coplanarity and surface topo- graphy by meeting SEMI standards.

he Belgian biotech company Galapagos has won the 2010 European Biotechnica Award. Galapa-
