How Respondents Plan to Use Digital Publishing in the Future


The picture changes rather dramatically when one looks out to the future. While digital magazines converted from a print magazine is still the top choice, the gap between that choice and digital-only magazine gets much smaller. The percent planning to create digital-only magazines increases by 44 percent. The number planning to create eBooks also increases significantly, from 11.3 to 18.1 percent (a 60 percent gain). Similarly, eCatalogs grows from 19.2 to 29.9 percent (a 56 percent gain). It would seem people are finding more and more uses for digital publishing, including more publication types.
