A male awoke and saw a light shining through his bedroom window, and a male intruder was opening the window. The resident alerted another resident, and they saw the man flee through an alley. HARTFORD ST., 2400 block, 1 to 1:15 a.m. Sept. 12. Laroy Bryant, 31, of the District was found with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. An arrest was made.
