OnTrail on #329: At East River, turn right to continue along the coast on Rte #329. Following along the beautiful Aspotogan


Peninsula you will next travel through the small coastal villages of Deep Cove and Blandford, where there is a public boat launch. Bayswater is home to the Bayswater Beach


Provincial Park. This long,white sand beach is a favourite in the area,and also has picnic facilities. Across fromthe park is a serenememorial to the victims of the 1998 Swiss Air tragedy. On toAspotogan,NorthwestCove,MillCove


and Fox Point, where Rte #329 rejoins #3 at Hubbards. Hubbards?is a full-service communitywith a


wide array of services available. The Hubbards Beach offers white sand and the warmest salt water on the South Shore. Hubbards hosts several events beginning


with the Multicultural Day Ceilidh on the Cove on June 27th. TheWorld TunaFlatRowingRaces followon


July 24th and then Hubbards Cove Days run from August 1st-9th. The Firefighters Fair and Supper is on August 14th and Torpedo Ray’s Treasure Hunt Dive is held Sept. 12th.


On the Shore Club Road is Bishop Park,


overlooking Hubbards Cove and the Shore Club. This is the last dance hall in Nova Scotia with dances held every Saturday night (during the summer) since 1946. The Shore Club is also the home of the


Original Nova Scotia Lobster Supper, satisfying travellers and locals alike since 1936. A local Farmers Market is held on Saturday

both the Cleveland Beach Provincial Park and the Queensland Beach Provincial Park. Black Point is the next community featuring


Black Point Beach. The trail continues alongside the beautiful


coastline, travelling through Ingramport, BoutiliersPoint,Headof St.MargaretsBay and intoUpperTantallon where youwill find awide variety of services available. Off trail fromUpper Tantallon: Rte#3 leads past the Lewis LakeProvincialPark and into the Halifax/Dartmouth area. Rte #213 travels through Yankeetown and Hammonds Plains, arriving in the Halifax Metro area.


Queensland Beach is a local favourite and just one of 10 beaches along this area
