Born in Honolulu, HI, graduated from the US Military Academy, his US Army Engineer service record includes an advisory and two combat tours in Viet Nam, command of a Nuclear Power Plant in Ft Greely Alaska, Associate Professor for Nuclear Engineering at USMA, and Division Chief at the Defense Nuclear Agency. Dr. Kubo earned his PhD in Nuclear Engineering from MIT and served on the Secretary of Energy’s Blue Ribbon Panel to review the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant program, and a congressionally-mandated committee to assess Bikini Atoll Rehabilitation. After retiring from the Army, he went on to an executive career at BDM International, and thenTRW. She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Richard A. von Glatz, her children Adrienne von Glatz and Jocelyn von Glatz West, and her grandchildren Lewis and NatalieWest. She was born in 1927 and raised in Roselle Park, NJ. She attended Bard College and Columbia University where she met her husband. She was married in 1952 and lived in the Chicago area for the next 10 years, where her children were born. She spent the next 25 years living abroad in India, Sri Lanka, Turkey, and Pakistan as a Foreign Service Officer’s wife. She and her husband settled in the Washington, DC area after retirement and later moved to Charlestown Retirement Community. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 21 at the First Unitarian Church of Baltimore, Pratt Parish Hall, 514 N. O'NEILL WILLIAM J. O'NEILL "Bill" (Age 70)
Died at his home on Lake Gaston in Henrico, North Carolina on Friday, August 13, 2010, following a courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born on March 7, 1940 in Plymouth, PA to the late William John O’Neill and Margaret Gertrude O’Neill. Following graduation from St. Vincent’s High School in 1957 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He married Patricia Ann Hankey of Wilke-Barre, PA in 1960 before moving to Northern Virginia where he worked for the CIA for 34 years and raised three children. In addition to working for the CIA, Bill and his three bother’s owned and operated a construction company, Neillsons in Northern Virginia. After retiring from the CIA in 1994, Bill and his wife settled in Lake Gaston, NC. During retirement Bill was an accomplished journalist for The Lake Gaston Gazette-Observer with his weekly column “Wondering Around Lake Gaston”. Bill had a passion for photography, boating and sailing. Bill was an active member of The Lake Gaston Lions Club, Water Safety Council, AARP and Lakeland Theatre, where he performed in and directed

Gen Rockly Triantafellu was born in Daytona Beach, FL on Oct 17, 1917. He passed away peacefully on August 6, 2010.
His 35 years of military service began with enlistment into the Florida National Guard in 1937. He went to aviation cadet school and served as an Army Air Corps Lt lead crew/ squadron bombardier in WWII with 25 missions in Europe. Post WWII he set up a triple-rated USAF radar-navigation school, and served as Director of Intelligence at various HQ USAF commands. He retired in 1972 as assistant chief of staff for intelligence,

GenTriantafellu was a rated master navigator. His military decorations include the Distin- guished Service Medal with oak leaf clus- ter, Legion of Merit with oak leaf cluster, Distinguished Flying Cross with oak leaf clus- ter, Air Medal with three oak leaf clusters, Presidential Unit Citation Emblem, French Croix de Guerre with silver star, and Viet- namese Air Order Second Class.
His pastimes included surfing at Waikiki with the local beach boys, enjoying sunsets, play- ing gin, tinkering at his workbench, daily swims, golfing twice a week (walking the course until two years ago), get-togethers with friends and family,and traveling through- out every continent. He was well liked and quoted often for his wit and friendly conver- sation (“keep on keeping on,” “filling those squares”).
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years, Ruth Anne, son Rockly Jr, and younger brother S. Nick Triantafellu. He is survived by daughters Nicolette Triantafellu (George Janek) and Christine Overstreet (Den- nis); grandchildren; youngest brother, Nick Triantafellu Jr (Peggy), and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He will be laid to rest October 25, 2010 at Arlington National Cemetery next to his wife and son.
